Your first visit to Hookstone Dental

You will be greeted by our receptionist who will ask you to complete a medical questionnaire.  It will help to bring a list of any medication you may be taking.

At your First Visit consultation your dentist will carry out a full examination of your teeth, gums and mouth and low dose digital x-rays will be taken if necessary. It is a good opportunity for you to raise any concerns you may have about your teeth. We can then discuss various options available to you. Hookstone Dental can provide you and your family with the very best dental care, from a simple filling to more advanced Cosmetic dentistry to enhance your smile. If you have any concerns about visiting the dentist please discuss them with us and we will do everything we can to help.

If  you require further treatment we will provide you with a written treatment plan and estimated cost. In more complex cases a review appointment may be made for you to allow your dentist a bit more time to assess your case.

Access

There are two steps to gain entry to the building but a portable ramp is available on request. One of our surgeries is on the ground floor. You can request to be seen in this surgery if you need to. Unfortunately, we have no toilet facilities on the ground floor.
